The Homestay Program is for students who wish to develop their language study through a total immersion experience.

Students live with a Mexican family:

  • Single or shared rooms.
  • Breakfast.
  • Great cultural experience to practice Spanish with native Mexican families.

Located within walking distance of the school, our host families make our students feel so welcome, that they truly become a part of the family. So much so,in fact, the relationships often last for many, many years.

PAYMENT POLICES

  • Home Stay fees must be paid to the cashier within the first three days of the session. Please save your receipt.
  • For very small amounts please use charges to CREDIT CARD. You should send us an authorization that includes:
    • Credit card number,
    • Name of card holder,
    • Type of credit card
      (we accept Visa & Master Card),
    • Expiration date,
    • Exact amount that you authorize the University of Guadalajara to charge you,
    • Signature and Date.
  • Wire Transfer payment should be made for the exact amount of the invoice (you should add 25 USD to cover the commission your bank charges for the transaction)
  • Let us know ASAP when you make the wire transfer or sent the check to us, in order to keep our accounting files updated.
  • Any refunds are made according to CECM´s refund polices and they will be made in USD to the intitution through wire transfer.
